Greg Brown Scholarship

Two campers who have been with GRAVL since its beginning are Rosemary and Adeline Brown. Their dad, Greg Brown, passed away very suddenly this year.

Greg was a steadfast supporter of Girls Rock Asheville, volunteering a comment that GRAVL had been a highly positive element in his kids' lives. The girls' mom, Sandora JW Brown, is also a staunch advocate for Girls Rock Asheville and has helped us immensely by fundraising, volunteering and being a guiding light for our mission in the community.

We at Girls Rock Asheville want to honor Greg's memory by providing a sponsored place at camp in his name for a child who might not otherwise be able to attend.
